Islamic terrorist destroy the Soviets largest fuel refinary. This act will lead the Soviets to launch a war against NATO. Clancy and Bond take the reader to the halls of power and onto the tank blasted battle fields of West Germany, to American subs off the Soviet cost, air battles above the Earth, convoy duty in the North Atlantic and a handful of Marines trapped on Iceland, behind enemy lines.
