By: Austin Bay
Published: 2003

1991: At the end of the Gulf War, Major Peter Ford is witness to the massacre of a small village by Republican Guard forces. Though Ford presents evidence to his superiors the man responsable is never brought to justice.

Several years later Fords former superior officer Col. Ted Nicholson is murdered in Berlin for getting to close to the man responsable for the massacre. Ford sets out to find the truth in a journey that will take him across two contenents and into a world of smugglers, mercenaries and secret agents.

Not the best example of it's genra, still this novel is short and sweet , and Bay keeps you turning the pages. Check it out.
